While MG2009 does not 'officially' start until Wednesday, June 24th, we are encouraging folks to arrive in Denver a day or two in advance. This will assist those of you from lower elevations (flatlanders) to acclimate to the higher altitude. In addition we are working on setting up some activities in Denver. There are some major private car collections in the Denver area and we are working on getting some private tours set up.
On Wednesday morning, there will be a tour set up from Denver to Breckenridge that will avoid I-70 as much as possible and take participants past dinosaur tracks, through Red Rocks park, past Buffalo Bill's gravesite, over the pass where MG-Rover altitude tested the MG-F, across the Continental Divide at over 11,000 feet and follow twisty 2 lane roads into the Colorado High Country.
Here is the tentative schedule for the event, These will be links when we have more detail
